To 10-year-old Keagan, being his "brother’s keeper" is a way of life. After his parents teach him the value of helping others, Keagan watches out for his aging neighbor, Jake. When Jake gets in the way of a greedy developer, government officials are content to push him aside, but they don’t anticipate Keagan McPhie. Keagan organizes a powerful force of protest to help Jake, reminding the adults of their responsibility to a friend in need.
